Grilled carrots came out so awesome! Cooked on my Weber vegan grill. I also cooked up some eggplant, corn cob, sweet peppers and BBQ Tofu using vegan Bulls-eye bbq sauce.

Fruitflypie Owl Purse Design

I have been working on a new purse design for the past 2 nights. It is a cute owl purse. I haven’t seen anything like it before. And I really want one myself. Here is the design I created (DO NOT STEAL, it took me a long time to create this!!!) I have a magnetic close at the top, but I was thinking of doing zipper but that makes it cost more and I haven’t ever attempted zippers. I have a bunch of vintage zippers in wonderful colors from the 70’s, like avacado, lavender and aqua.
But not enough or the right colors to do the 8 colors I want to do this in. It is all about the owls at my house!

New Pig & Cat Plush

I finished a new kitty plush doll tonight. She has my new Mom and baby Chick embroidery patch sewn to her belly. And the piggy is now super sized. Making the arms and legs were tough on the small scale using canvas fabric. But I wanted this piggy to be all one color so I made her bigger.  Now I need to make her a cute dress to wear and find the perfect patch to sew to her belly too. Now time to get some sleep before the sun comes up.

New Owl and Mushroom Ceramics!

I made a few Owl planters and Owl ashtrays over the past few days. They were poured using vintage molds from the 70's. I have had these molds for over 4 years now and this is the first time I have used them. And I am sooo happy. This is a picture of them drying.

And check out this Mushroom Planter, I fell in love the moment I saw it! Visions of yummy herbs growing in it come to mind.

I have many more goodies coming along as well.

Make It Cute!

Pig On Rug Painting

I completed this a few days ago, I started it last year. And completion feels nice, even if it is a year later. 
My piggy dolls dresses are done, but as for sewing them with canvas fabric, it is a nightmare to use for dolls. So I put that project away for weeks , and I have this guilty feeling to finish them. I have 3 yards of that yellow canvas to use up too. So My piggies arms and legs will be another type fabric. I haven't touched the sewing machine for a few weeks and today I threaded 7 bobbins and am ready to go.

Ceramics & Polymer Clay

New stuff finished. Polymer clay pendants and Piggy Multimedia painting with green beads, I have another one (Pink Rabbit) but it has been so cloudy all week, I haven't gotten any good pictures. A few ceramic pieces with glaze. I am painting all the other ceramic animals. I don't like this glaze look on them. I like more bright and happy color for them. The pendants will be listed on Ebay by the end of the week.

Ceramic Animal Army

Work in progress, Ceramic animals. In about 3 days when they are leather hard, I will smooth out any lumps they may have, Then it will take about 2 weeks for them to dry all the way through. After that, I will fire them, paint them, fire them again and they will be finished. Unless I decide to gloss some and fire a 3rd time. It takes forever but is very rewarding in the end.


This photo shows the most recent made in the front and the ones almost ready for the kiln in the back. Each stage is nice. They turn white when ready.

Can't sleep, So I made this cutie

I hate not being able to sleep. But with no sleep I come up with Lucy. She already has a whole wardrobe I sketched out to make for her too. So look for her to be in doll form soon along with piggy.

New Embroidered Purse

New Purse, I created the design on the front in Illustrator and then machine embroidered it. It took me a long time to make this first one, with the embroidery and different fabrics, But I really do like it, and I have another one in the works.

Get Off My Tree -T

T-Shirt Design Revamped - I played with the colors more, and have decided to use this one for my new t-shirt design. It will be my first 2 color on a brown T-shirt

Here is the original colors, which I love, but for a T- I think i am liking the orange and aqua better.

Pillow of the Dead and Piggy

I painted a whole bunch of different designs to become future pillows and handbags. And these two cuties are my favorite. I like how they came out. The color from the scanner is off though, they are more of a fruity orange than a brown.

I am also in the making of 2 yellow piggies. One with a aqua polka dot and one with a green polka dot dress. Here is my before design, I used my digital drawing and created my own pattern pieces and cut them out last night. So they are all pinned up and ready to be sewn into life. I will post a photo of the piggies once I finish them.
